Frimley Park Hospital required a new scanning facility which contains 2 CT scanners and 1 MRI Scanner.
The project involved not only working with InHealth Group and Frimley Health Foundation Trust’s clinical and estates teams to ensure the layout and scope of new modular building reflected their specialist requirements, but also the diversion of existing services, groundworks, foundations, installation of the building and specialist scanning equipment, M&E installations, interior fit-out, external paving and ramps to provide a full turnkey solution.
Reds10 and Imaging Matters worked with InHealth to develop a modular solution for the NHS Trust. Following manufacture in our factory in East Yorkshire, the 360m2 facility was installed using a 500t super crane over the August Bank Holiday weekend (just 13 weeks after appointment). The fully functioning facility was handed over and the hospital was scanning patients just 12 weeks after installation.
