Official Opening Celebration for Wembley Manor

Wembley Manor School has officially opened, marking a major milestone for Brent’s SEND provision. Funded by the local authority and delivered by Reds10, the new £22m school offers 150 specialist places in a modern, sustainable building designed around pupils' needs.

Smiles, applause and a freshly cut ribbon marked the official opening of Wembley Manor School yesterday. Cabinet members, councillors, local authority officers, school staff and construction workers came together to celebrate the arrival of the landmark new SEND school on London Road. Guests enjoyed a guided tour of the bright, modern building, taking in the classrooms and specialist spaces that welcomed pupils for the first time in September.

Funded by the local authority, delivered by Reds10 and managed by The Rise Partnership Trust, the £22 million Wembley Manor School provides 150 much-needed specialist places for local secondary-aged children, bringing access to vital support closer to home for Brent families. The three-storey school was designed entirely around pupils’ needs, offering peaceful and welcoming learning environments that promote wellbeing, independence and confidence, while setting new standards for sustainability and environmental performance.

Yesterday’s celebration demonstrates Brent Council’s commitment to give children in the borough the best possible start in life.

The completion of Wembley Manor School is a major step forward for Brent, providing much-needed local SEND capacity and reducing the need for pupils to travel out of borough. From early design through to the installation of 121 modular units, the focus has been on delivering a practical, high-quality learning environment that works for both pupils and staff. We are proud to have delivered a modern, sustainable school that responds directly to local need and supports Brent’s long-term SEND strategy.
